You've heard of the 'hamster wheel?' or being on 'auto pilot?'
My classes are designed to bring you into the moment, away from the hub of your busy life and teach you how to PAUSE. To also gain physical and mental flexibility and strength, to breath correctly and efficiently and relax (lots of people don't actually know how to relax!). It may sound a big task all in one session but with over 16 years of experience teaching, and my own personal journey I am confident and proud of the style in which I teach.
I want to cultivate an environment where there is no competition but a supportive and friendly atmosphere. After all, everyone is on their own journey, and each and every body is so different. I have learnt alot from some great teachers and mentors who have influenced my work in many ways to bring a balance of outer and inner work. I am passionate about positive living and self-care.
The movement of the body and mindset can bring about powerful shifts in a situation that may be stressful or emotional. The Yoga can support you with your own healing and begin to teach you how to cultivate more patience, love, confidence, peace and inner resilience in a world that is often challenging and unpredictable.
I combine Hatha Yoga with mindset work, integrate this with ancient teachings as well as modern ideas and thread themes into classes.
Current Offerings:
Online Yoga Zoom. Wednesdays 8pm ( and on catchup via a Facebook community). £35 per month (includes 4 live classes and unlimited catch ups). This option is not ideal for beginners or people that have specific physical needs as it's an online class where I am unable to give that level of assistance and support.
In-person:
Sundays 7.30-8.45pm, @ Shireoaks Village Hall (block booking) £80pp- 6 sessions
Mondays 11am, term time only @ Shireoaks Village Hall (block booking only) £60pp - 6 sessions
